Why do you want to be an MSYP?

I want to become an MSYP because I know I can make changes to the community around me. I know that I can take peoples suggestions and raise their voices to get them heard. I want to make the young people around me feel like they are being listened to. I want to make a change. I want to do something to make the environment around me better. I want the young people in my community to feel happy and safe. I will make East Lothian a better place for young people I will do everything to make that happen.

How will you consult with the young people in your area or organisation to ensure that they are represented well and their voices are heard?

I will go to community groups, guides/scouts, sports groups, support groups and more to see what they want done in the community around the, to see if I can make their school life, their wellbeing, their community better. I will always be open for anyone to have a suggestion or idea on anything and take that to the youth parliament meetings and bring them up.

Why should someone vote for you?

I’m asking for your vote because I will do everything in my willpower to make East Lothian a better place for us. I’m determined to listen to all your view and opinions on matters and work hard to find a solution for them. I want to make East Lothian thrive with the voices of young people being heard, so please consider voting me because I’m here to make a change.
