Candidate Profile

Why do you want to be an MSYP?

I want to become an MSYP because I want to stand up for young people and represent their them. I want to make sure their voices are heard and taken seriously. I want to give young people a chance to speak about the issues that matter to them and help create positive change. As an MSYP I would have the opportunity to make meaningful and needed changes in education and in our communities by working with young people to build a better future for them.

What are the issues that matter most to you?

Modernizing education,

How will you consult with the young people in your area or organisation to ensure that they are represented well and their voices are heard?

I will consult young people by attending outreach events, holding school assemblies and speaking directly with them about the issues that matter. I will also keep them updated on social media and use polls to let them share their opinions and have a say in decisions.

Why should someone vote for you?

As a young person I am tired of seeing the youth being ignored and I want to make sure our voices are heard and taken seriously. I have been a member of DYC (Dundee Youth Council) for 3.5 years which has gave me experience in representing young people and making decisions that affect them. I believe I can use this experience as an MSYP to make real changes and give YOU the representation they deserve.
