Why do you want to be an MSYP?
I would like to become an MSYP to get more involved in the community and be a voice for the young people within my constituency to challenge the status quo. Bridging the gap between young people and decision makers is something I feel strongly about and becoming an MSYP will improve that.
How will you consult with the young people in your area or organisation to ensure that they are represented well and their voices are heard?
Young people in my area can reach out and consult with me through various means. The official SYP websites “find your MSYP” or local council are two ways or if young people want to be informal, they can ask on my MSYP profile. I will take in to account what young people are asking me and strive to meet their needs
Why should someone vote for you?
I am involved in numerous activities already such as explorers, pupil council, events coordinating, student representative and leadership schemes, gaining an award. I am friendly, attentive and want to enact real change and help the young people within my constituency to my full potential.
