Candidate Profile

Why do you want to be an MSYP?

I want to be a MSYP to express the voices of young people across Scotland in all groups. I want to provide a space for all young people of Scotland to freely express their opinions and issues and then resolve them to the best of my ability, leaving no voice unheard as I do so. I want to create a young Scotland where no one goes unnoticed and everyone supports eachother in resolving problems.

How will you consult with the young people in your area or organisation to ensure that they are represented well and their voices are heard?

I will create social media platforms and accounts to give young people the ability to easily express their issues, I will use these social platforms to bring awareness and encourage community support for these issues. I will also reach out to youth groups and schools in an attempt to work with them to further reach out to young people, giving them ample oppertunity to express their voices in a safe space.

Why should someone vote for you?

I believe that someone should vote for me because they see me as one of the best options and not for personal reasons. I want to use my hardworking to help all young people so if someone is going to vote for me I want it to be for that, I want it to be because they believe I will be the best possible choice for all young people and not just certain groups.
